“My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.
Paul’s God is our God and will supply all our need. Paul felt sure of this in reference to the Philippians, and we feel sure of it as to ourselves. God will do it, for it is like Him: He loves us, He delights to bless us, and it will glorify Him to do so. His pity, His power, His love, His faithfulness, all work together that we be not famished.
What a measure doth the Lord go by: “According to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” The riches of His grace are large, but what shall we say of the riches of His glory? His “riches of glory by Christ Jesus”-who shall form an estimate of this? According to this immeasurable measure will God fill up the immense abyss of our necessities. He makes the Lord Jesus the receptacle and the channel of His fullness, and then He imparts to us His wealth of love in its highest form. Hallelujah!
The writer knows what it is to be tried in the work of the Lord. Fidelity has been recompensed with anger, and liberal givers have stopped their subscriptions; but he whom they sought to oppress has not been one penny the ~ nay, rather he has been the richer; for this promise has been true, “My God shall supply all your need.” God’s supplies are surer than any bank.

என் தேவன் தம்முடைய ஐசுவரியத்தின்படி உங்கள் குறைவையெல்லாம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குள் மகிமையிலே நிறைவாக்குவார். பிலி.4:19.
பவுலின் கடவுள் நம்முடைய கடவுளும் ஆவார். அவர் நம் குறைவையெல்லாம் நிறைவாக்குவார். பிலிப்பியரைக் குறித்து இக் கூற்று உண்மையானதென்று பவுல் நம்பினார். நாமும் நம்மைக் குறித்து இது உண்மையானதென்று நம்புகிறோம். தேவன் இதைச் செய்வார். ஏனெனில் இது அவர் தன்மையாகும். அவர் நம்மை நேசிக்கிறார். நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார். அவ்விதம் செய்வது அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்தும். நாம் கடும்பசியினால் மடிந்து விடாதபடி அவர் இரக்கம், ஆற்றல், அன்பு நேர்மை யாவும் ஒன்றாய் இணைந்து செயல் படுகின்றன.
ஆண்டவர் பயன்படுத்தும் அளவுமுறை எது? தம்முடைய ஐசுவரியத்தின்படி……. கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் மகிமையிலே அவர் கிருபையின் ஐசுவரியமே எல்லையற்றது. அப்படியிருக்கும் போது அவர் மகிமையின் ஐசுவரியத்தை எப்படி அளக்கக்கூடும்? கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் மகிமையை யார் கணக்கிடக்கூடும்? நம் தேவைகளான படுகுழியை அளவுக்குட்படாத அவர் அளவினால் அவர் நிரப்புவார். ஆண்டவர் இயேசுவை அவர் நிறைவை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளும் கொள்கலமாகவும் அதை எடுத்துச் செல்லும் வாய்க்காலாகவும் ஆக்குகின்றார். பின் அவர் அன்பின் ஐசுவரியத்தை அதன் மேம்பாடான நிலையில் நம் பங்காக அளிக்கிறார். அல்லேலூயா!
ஆண்டவரின் ஊழியத்தில் சோதனைக்கு உட்படுவதைப் பற்றி இதை எழுதியவர் நன்கு அறிவார். கடமை தவறாமையின் உழைப்பூதியமாக அளிக்கப்பட்டது சினமே. தாராளமாகக் கொடுத்தவர்கள் தங்கள் நன்கொடையை நிறுத்தி விட்டார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் துன்புறுத்த விரும்பியவருக்கு ஒரு பைசா கூடக் குறையவில்லை. சொல்லப்போனால் அவர் தேவையானவற்றிற்கும் அதிகமாய்ப் பெற்றிருக்கிறார். ஏனெனில் என் தேவன் உங்கள் குறைவையெல்லாம் நிறைவாக்குவார் என்னும் வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானதாய் இருந்திருக்கிறது. ஆண்டவர் அளிப்பது எந்த வங்கியும் அளிப்பதை விட நிச்சயமானது.
