And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24.

And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. James 2:23.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? James 2:14.
