A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot. Proverbs 14:30.

Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished. Proverbs 16:5.

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6.

On account of these the wrath of God is coming. Colossians 3:6.
