Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;yet we esteemed him stricken,smitten by God,and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions;he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, Titus 3:4-6.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1.
